Brush care
Generally speaking, make up brushes are made to last for a long time, especially if it is high in quality. But if you fail to take care of it properly, it won’t reach the long life it promises to achieve.
When cleaning the brush, you can use either a dedicated brush cleaner or a very gentle liquid soap. Wet the brush, pour a few drops of the soap into your palm and swirl the brush around it until everything is covered with soap. Rinse the brush thoroughly until all residue is gone.
Immersing the entire brush on the water is not a good idea, as brushes are only glued on the base of the make up brush’ head. Even the highest quality make-up brush will fall off, if you regularly immerse the brush in water.
You can dry off the brush using a fresh, clean towel. Let it completely dry by hanging the brush upside down.
– Cleaning the brushes monthly or twice a month, depending on the frequency of usage is a good idea
– Clean the sides of the brush handle using a cotton swab
– Store it in individual cases
